Merrill Lynch to Pay $415 Million to Settle SEC Investigation

(Bloomberg) -- Bank of America Corp.’s Merrill Lynch unit agreed to pay $415 million to settle a U.S. regulator’s claims that it misused customer cash to generate profits for the firm. In resolving the investigation, Merrill Lynch admitted to wrongdoing, the Securities and Exchange Commission said in a statement Thursday. Link to Statement:Link
