Peru Poll Gives Fujimori 46.1%, Kuczynski 41.6% Ahead of Runoff
(Bloomberg) -- Presidential candidate Keiko Fujimori has 46.1% and Pedro Pablo Kuczynski has 41.6% in simulated vote by El Comercio-Ipsos, according to El Comercio newspaper.
- About 12% were blank or distorted votes
- 44% say report of Fujimori aide under investigation for money laundering is smear campaign
- 31% believe Fujimori knew about aide’s properties; 10% believe Fujimori didn’t know about aide and it looks good; 6% believe Fujimori didn’t know, but it seems wrong
- El Comercio-Ipsos questioned 1,823 people from May 19-20, margin of error +/-2.3 ppts
