EPA Contacts Daimler Over U.S. Diesel-Emission Suit: Handelsbatt
(Bloomberg) -- EPA asked Daimler to explain allegations made in U.S. class action suit claiming the carmaker manipulated its diesel engines, Handelsblatt reports, citing Christopher Grundler, the agency’s director for transportation and air quality.
- Daimler spokeswoman Ute von Vellberg said she couldn’t immediately comment on the report when contacted by Bloomberg
- Handelsblatt cites unnamed Daimler spokesman denying the allegations and saying co. is cooperating with the EPA
