(Bloomberg) -- Former Brazil Tourism Minister and ex-lower house speaker Henrique Eduardo Alves among targets of new police operation linked to Carwash probe, according to statement published on public prosecutors’ website.
- Police are serving five preventive arrest orders, including one for Alves and another for Eduardo Cunha, who’s already in prison, prosecutors say
- Investigation into corruption and money laundering is based on Odebrecht plea bargains
- Alves’s lawyer couldn’t be reached by phone for comment
