(Bloomberg) -- Switzerland’s attorney-general has opened criminal proceedings against Lombard Odier as part of a wider probe into money laundering involving Gulnara Karimova, daughter of the deceased former president of Uzbekistan.

• The case opened in December targets the bank, a former employee and other ’unknown persons’: A-G
• Lombard Odier suspected of a lack of internal controls that allowed alleged wrongdoing: A-G
• An official at Lombard Odier wasn’t immediately available to comment
• NOTE: Swiss A-G said in August 2015 they had confiscated more than CHF800 million ($794 million) in the case.
