Airbus Said to Be Poised to Win $7.5 Billion GoAir A320neo Order

(Bloomberg) -- Airbus is in discussions with India’s Go Airlines over a follow-on purchase of about 70 A320neo planes, according to people familiar with the talks.
  • Airbus aims to be able to announce the deal at the Farnborough air show this week, although an agreement could take longer to finalize, said the people who asked not to be identified because the negotiations are ongoing
  • GoAir and Airbus declined to comment
  • NOTE: GoAir has taken delivery of two A320neos from a previous order for 72 of the planes
  • NOTE: The A320neo has a list price $107.3m
