Airbus’s CESA Unit Said to Draw Interest From Stirling, Heroux

(Bloomberg) -- The Airbus unit that makes landing gear and hydraulic components for planes has drawn interest from companies including Heroux-Devtek and Stirling Square Capital Partners, people familiar with the matter said.
  • Compania Espanola de Sistemas Aeronauticos, jointly owned by Airbus and United Technologies Corp., could be valued at about EU150m in a sale, said the people
  • Buyout firms Torreal and Arta Capital are also weighing a joint bid, the people said
  • The talks are ongoing and no final decisions have been made, they said
  • Representatives for Airbus, Longueuil, Canada-based Heroux, Arta, Torreal and Stirling declined to comment
  • A representative for UTC didn’t immediately respond to requests for comment
