46% of Fund Managers See Lower Odds of December Hike: BofAML

(Bloomberg) -- 46% of fund managers surveyed from Wednesday-Thursday see lower odds of a December rate increase; 14% see odds higher, 39% said views hadn’t changed, BofAML strategists led by Michael Hartnett write in note Thursday.
  • 59% of investors said Trump win will not affect their cash holdings
  • 46% said Trump will most likely pass tax repatriation/infrastructure spending bill in first 100 days
  • Most popular post-election trades were buying S&P 500 Index, USD, and buying gold/selling risky assets
    • Very few bought USTs or EU and EM equities
  • 57% said U.S. election doesn’t mark peak in global political risk premium
  • NOTE: Survey, conducted by e-mail, included responses from 114 investor clients
