U.S. ECO PREVIEW: ISM Non-Manufacturing Index Due in 5 Minutes

(Bloomberg) -- Following are forecasts for today’s economic releases as compiled by Bloomberg News.
  • Ism Non-Manu 55.6; range 53.9 to 57 (70 estimates)
    • Non- manufacturing ISM likely rebounded in August after a sizable drop in July. The recent data, including the latest GDP report, suggest robust underlying momentum in the economy should prevail well into 2H. -- Bloomberg Intelligence
    • It could still be too early for Hurricane Harvey to distort the data. The September print, published next month, could get a hit from the disruption in activity. -- Bloomberg Intelligence
