(Bloomberg) -- U.S. Justice Department special counsel Robert Mueller’s team and Deutsche Bank have already established informal contact regarding the investigation into possible Trump campaign ties to Russia, Guardian reports, citing an unidentified person close to the matter.
  • Deutsche Bank executives and Trump’s personal bankers are expecting that the bank will soon receive from Mueller subpoenas or other requests for information
  • Other financial institutions with ties to Trump, incl. Bank of America, may also receive requests for information from Mueller’s team
  • Deutsche Bank and an unidentified spokesman for Mueller didn’t respond to request for comment: Guardian
  • Separately, New York Times reports that banking regulators are reviewing loans made to Trump’s businesses through Deutsche Bank’s private wealth management unit, citing three unidentified people briefed on the review
