(Bloomberg) -- Kelvin Ang Wee Keng admitted that he made a corrupt payment to a research analyst in a Singapore case tied to a probe into 1Malaysia Development Bhd.
- Ang was charged a year ago for what authorities said was corruptly giving S$3,000 ($2,158) to a research analyst to speed up the preparation of a favorable valuation report
- Ang was friends with Yeo Jiawei, prosecutor Vincent Ong says in court
- Yeo, a former banker at BSI SA, is appealing a 30-month jail term for obstructing justice
